Pisac

Both the market and the ruins of the old town are very worth visiting! The greater market is open on Sundays but other smaller and great markets are also open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They are the best places to buy typical and original souvenirs, food, take pictures and blend with natives and other visitors. From Cusco the trip takes around 1 hour on

Chinchero

Located about 30 km from Cusco, this Incan village stands at 3.762 masl, from where the views of the surrounding mountains (Salkantay, Vilcabamaba range) are astonishing! Perhaps for its so high position, it’s said to be the rainbow birth-place lol In Chinchero there’s also a beautiful and colorful market, a little smaller than Pisac’s one though. History says that it was Tupac Yupanqui’s (Incan governor) country resort. The main attraction of this site is the huge stone wall, located in the… Continue

Sacred Valley

In ancient times, it was the former protection place for the attacks to Cusco, as well as an agricultural zone to “feed” Cusco.

Nowadays it’s a must-do visitation because of the great archeological complexes and the great weather.…

Puno - Titicaca Lake

After so many adventures in Cusco, it’s time to go to Puno, in the Peruvian highlands. This time I’ll take the train because I want to enjoy the views! The trip takes 10 hours and I’ll try to relax a bit before spending 1 night with a family in the Amantani island in the Titicaca Lake lol

I’m not sure where I’ll be going after Puno… once I’ve made up my mind, I’ll let you know!

I spent the whole day yesterday visiting agencies, tour operators, hotel/hostels and restaurants… Continue
